Why I cannot see or download the app?
Lucky Fortuna requires Android 2.3.3 and up. Please make sure that your device is compatible.
Why I need to log in with my email?
The first time you open the App you will be asked whether you want to log in with your email or play offline. If you decide that you want to play online with your friends then you will need an online account. Therefore you need to log in with your email. Otherwise only offline games are allowed.
Where my email is used for?
We use your email to verify your identity. We will use your email only to create your account or let you recover your password. We will NOT send you any email for other purposes like news or spam.
Additionally you can use the email of your friends to find them and play online with them!
Where is my password?
For the first time you log in a new online account will be created for you. A random password will be created automatically for you and it will be sent to the email account you introduced at the previous step. If you do not remember the email address you entered you can go back and double check it. Please make sure that the email address you entered is the right one and that the spell is correct.
Please check your email's inbox and look for an email sent by threepinkmustaches@gmail.com to you with the subject 'Lucky Fortuna'. It is possible that the email takes a while to appear into your inbox. Please be patient. If you do not receive the email please double check your spam folder.
The email will contain your password. Introduce it at the login screen of the application to validate your account and continue the register process.

My password does not work
You can try recovering your password. An email will be sent to your address with a link to create a new password for you. You can recover your password at the login form.

How can I change my password?
At the menu go to the 'Settings' tab and select 'Password'. Introduce a new password and accept the changes. You need internet access to perform this operation.
How can I change my avatar?
At the menu go to the 'Settings' tab and select 'Avatar'. Select a new image from your gallery. You need internet access to perform this operation.
How can I change my username?
At the menu go to the 'Settings' tab and select 'Username'. Introduce a new username and accept the changes. The max length for your user name is 20 characters. You need internet access to perform this operation.
How can I see my profile?
At the menu go to the 'Settings' tab and select 'See profile'.
How can I suggest boards?
At the menu go to the 'Contribute' tab and click on 'Suggest boards'. Select the language and category of your board. Add the board text and the hint and once your board is ready click on 'Send suggestion'. Your board will be sent to our database and it will be reviewed before we add it to the next boards update. You need internet to perform this operation. Feel free to send as much as you want.
Additionally you can do it via web going to the Contribute section to suggest boards.
How can I start a new game?
The 'New game' button is always shown at the top-right corner of the screen when you are at the 'Games' tab.
Another 'New game' button is shown at your games list if there are no games.
Why I cannot start a new game?
Before you start a new game you need at least one opponent. When you start a new game you are added to the list of players automatically but there is space for two more players. Select the kind of opponents that you want before you can start the game
Why I cannot buy a vowel?
There are some situations when you cannot buy a vowel:
- It is not your turn. The active player is shown bigger than the inactive ones. When is the turn of remote players or CPUs you will see that they are shown bigger and they are thinking.
- You have just spun the wheel. After you spin the wheel you must say a consonant. You will be able to buy a consonant after saying a consonant or before spinning the wheel.
- You do not have enough score. Buy a vowel requires 50 points of score. The 'Buy vowel' button will be disabled if your score is lower than that.
- There are no more consonants available.
Why I do not receive updates?
There are several reasons to do not receive updates. The most frequent are:
- Your friends are not playing at the moment. You will receive the updates when they continue playing.
- You need to be connected to internet in order to receive update notifications.
- Some battery saving settings disable the internet connectivity of the application when it is on the background. If that is the case you will only receive updates when you open Lucky Fortuna.
